Tin Topper from Ronel!

FINALLY getting around to showing you all my beautiful tin topper from Ronel! She was very clever I think in how she finished up this cute little tin! It can be used for either photo's or as she suggested I can put some felt on each little square and use it as a needle holder as well. As you can see she also added a couple of goodies of floss and a small card to the package as well.

My Tin Topper From Andrea

I received a beautiful tin topper from Andrea today. She stitched a pretty hardanger design on lavender fabric. (One of my favorite colors.)

I really like hardanger and I don't have any in my collection so this is special to me. On the inside of the tin is a smaller design personalized with my name.

The tin is finished with a pretty coordinating fabric and green ribbon and beads. And to top it off a pair of Little Gems purple scissors that I have been wishing for. How great is that?

Altoid Tin exchange received...

Ronel had a very clever way of making this one! I have had the pleasure of having Ronel as a exchange partner in the past and she ALWAYS does such nice work! Humbug

This BEAUTIFUL humbug was stitched by Nita as a replacement for me. It is GORGEOUS! I LOVE the design and the colors she chose for me. She even stitched me a tag too! The humbug is HUGE! I love it so much Nita. You really went all out for me. Your kindness and generosity really has shown through. I am honored to have this elegant piece stitched by you. As promised although a day late

Here are pics of the beautiful tin sent to me by Lynn S as well as a correction. After my last post I actually read the card that the "floss" is on and it's actually blended cording!! I've never seen anything like this before, but what a great idea, and it goes perfectly with the fabric :D

My Altoid Tin Arrived!

Thank you to Anita from the Netherlands for this beautiful tin! I think I'm the first to receive in this exchange!!

Where Stitchers Meet - I love the holographic heart and the delicate little scissors!

The side - she used 2 different colors of ribbon, and you can see the 3D butterfly and gold rope trim

The inside - this fabric is so soft.

This little treasure has already found it's way to my cutting/finishing table. I'm going to put some pins in it right away - the other day I discovered that one of my plastic pin boxes fell off the table and scattered pins everywhere - so this will be a perfect new home for them! Plus, I haven't finished mine yet, so it will serve as inspiration for the next few days!

Scissor Case from April rec'd

I received my scissor exchange from April, thanks. I think that April used the same floss shade to stitch my case as I used.  I love using that color, DMC 107!

I have received a gorgeous scissor pocket from Bonnie. It came complete with scissors to match, and they had a beautiful fob.

A Parcel All the way From Italy

Look at the lovely gifts I recieved from Armonde in Italy, Firstly, a lovely little scissor case complete with a beaded pin closure.  But Armode writes that it wasn't what she wanted so the sweetie made another, and this time she included a delightful pair of pink scissors in the case too.  On this one she sewed in cross stitch using vriagated thread and it's just lovely.  Thank-you so much Armonde, I will always treasure my gift from you all the way on the other side of the world.
